Hi, I’m Macee — the founder of Earl’s Bakehouse and proud pup parent to Earl the pug. Earl’s Bakehouse recently had a rebrand. My business was originally known as 2uglydogs. Named after my two previous dogs, Sherman the one eyed pug and Irish the sassy Eskipom. Sherman has passed away and Iris is now living the spoiled life with my parents, they both have a special place in my heart, in Earl’s Bakehouse as well as with so many of you that have taken this journey with us since the very beginning. Earl’s Bakehouse was born during the early days of the COVID pandemic, a time when the world felt uncertain, and I was beginning my journey of sobriety. Baking all-natural dog treats became more than a creative outlet — it became a form of healing, structure, and joy in a time when I needed it most.

With a background in vet tech school, and years of experience working in animal hospitals and pet hotels, I’ve always had a deep love for animals and their well-being. I’ve seen firsthand how nutrition impacts health, and I wanted to create treats that were both nourishing and tail-waggingly delicious. 

Combining my passion for animals, my love of baking, and a commitment to clean, wholesome ingredients, Earl’s Bakehouse is more than just a treat brand — it’s a celebration of resilience, recovery, and the unconditional love our pets give us every day.
